6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (rib) suffered a rib injury on the other side in the Week 8 win over the Giants. His ability to play in Week 9 will be about pain tolerance. Thompson could be in danger of sitting out against the Falcons if the pain is too much to bear. If that's the case, it'll make workhorse Adrian Peterson an even stronger volume-based RB2 in a great matchup. Thompson had just five touches on Sunday as he plays at less than 100 percent.
