BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 14% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jakeem Grant has caught 20 of his 31 targets this season and is coming off of a career-best eight targets against the Texans on Sunday. Grant caught four of those targets for 36 yards and has averaged 12.6 yards per catch this season. While he has not yet made that much of an impact in the passing game, he is 2nd in the league in both KR return average (32.3) and PR return average (17.4).
Brock Osweiler at quarterback might not be the best of situations for Grant, but the fact that Grant was targeted eight times last week should not be dismissed. The Dolphins are still looking for an impact player at receiver, especially since Devante Parker cannot be trusted, and Grant's big play potential makes him a worthy lottery ticket. For those that do not remember, Grant did also have a two touchdown performance against the Raiders earlier this season.
The Jets are 27th against WR, putting Grant in the position to be an impact FLEX player right out of the gate. Parker is the top WR option in Miami and the loss of Albert Wilson will likely open the door for more work for Grant. He is a good addition in deeper leagues and could even be worth starting.
