6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said quarterback C.J. Beathard (wrist) is struggling to hold the ball and could be forced to miss the game on Thursday against the Raiders. Beathard would likely be fine to play on Sunday, but he'll be a question mark on the short week. Beathard has been pretty mediocre since his surprising breakout against the Packers on Monday night several weeks ago. If he's unable to go, Nick Mullens would be under center against a bad Raiders team. Even so, it'd be a slight downgrade for all of San Fran's aerial weapons, most notably receiver Marquise Goodwin.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
