6 years agoHouston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said that tight end Ryan Griffin (illness) will return in Week 9 against the Broncos after missing the last two games with an illness. Rookie Jordan Thomas benefitted from Griffin's absence last Thursday and scored two touchdowns, but Griffin should return as the main pass-catching tight end moving forward. Griffin has just 10 catches on 25 targets for 140 yards this season and is merely a TE2, even against a Denver team that struggles to cover tight ends.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
