6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Slater Koekkoek scored the team's only goal in Thursday's 4-1 home loss to Nashville. It's his first goal and point of the season after missing most of the games so far as a healthy scratch. Koekkoek was in the lineup for only the third time this year, playing on the second pairing with Dan Girardi. Victor Hedman (upper body) looks set to miss a couple of more games over the weekend, so Koekkoek will get some more chances to impress.
