Phillip Danault Picks Up Two Assists In Win
6 years agoMontreal Canadiens center Phillip Danault snagged two helpers during a 6-4 win over the Washington Capitals on Thursday night. Danault now has one goal and six assists through 12 games this season. The former first-round pick is playing on the top line with Tomas Tatar and Brendan Gallagher. Danault has shown his effectiveness in the past, but he is not your prototypical C1. His career high in points would be the 40 he registered in the 2016-17 campaign. The 25-year-old is strictly a depth option for fantasy managers in deep leagues as he does not see any time on the power play and offers average offensive production.
