Matthew Stafford Held Without a Touchdown In Week 9
6 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford finished 25 of 36 for just 199 yards and no touchdowns in the 24-9 loss to the Vikings. Stafford also fumbled in the fourth quarter, with Minnesota recovering and returning it for a touchdown. Stafford was under pressure all day, being sacked 10 times, a career high. Historically the 30-year-old struggles on the road, but the signal caller just couldn't get any help up front and it spelled trouble for the entire offense as the only points scored were three field goals. Things don't get any easier next week as the Lions face the Bears on the road.
