Theo Riddick Has Flex Appeal In Week 10
6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Theo Riddick returned from a two-game absence in Week 9 to post seven receptions on eight targets for 36 yards. In his absence, rookie Kerryon Johnson took on the team's pass-catching back role but it's clear that role is back to being Riddick's. Last week, the 27-year-old played his most snaps (39) since Week 1 as the Lions trailed the Vikings almost the entire game. Golden Tate's departure definitely bumps Riddick's usage up as a check-down option. This week against the Bears, the Lions are expected to be trailing again, which means Riddick should see another healthy dose of targets, making him a PPR-only flex option in deeper leagues.
