James Conner Placed In Concussion Protocol
6 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers have placed running back James Conner in the league's concussion protocol. Conner was pulled from Thursday's win over the Carolina Panthers and could be seen entering the medical tent on the sideline before heading to the locker room during the fourth quarter. He didn't return to the game but there was some question as to whether it was due to a head injury or because Pittsburgh was leading by several touchdowns. Head coach Mike Tomlin clarified the situation after the game, telling reporters that Conner did, in fact, suffer a concussion. Conner has 10 days to clear concussion protocol ahead of his Week 11 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
