Adrian Peterson A Bounce-Back Candidate
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has done well with his role in the offense when game flow has permitted his utilization. Last week against the Falcons, he fell victim to the opposite script and was held to just 33 yards from scrimmage. A date with the Buccaneers could send Peterson trending back in the right direction in Week 10. The Buccaneers have allowed 14 total touchdowns to opposing running backs on the season, 11 of them on the ground, which is exactly where Peterson does his damage. Not helping the Buccaneers' case is that they have the worst turnover differential in the NFL, meaning their defense could spend an awful lot of time on the field against a Redskins team that likes to run the ball. Look for Peterson to reenter the RB2 conversation this week.
