6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, while also catching six passes for 38 yards and a score in a loss to the Bears on Sunday. Just before half time, the rookie rushed for his second touchdown of the season, before catching his first NFL receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter. It's refreshing to see Johnson still opportunities in the passing game even with Theo Riddick back in action, but the Lions' defense will have to limit opposing offenses from scoring so much if they want to get the rookie more carries.
