6 years agoThe Washington Redskins defense clearly wanted to make amends for the failures that resulted in last week's 38-14 shellacking at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons. They accomplished their mission on Sunday by preventing the Buccaneers to score a single touchdown. Washington also forced four turnovers and sacked Ryan Fitzpatrick twice. This is the type of outing we've come to expect from the Redskins' defensive group, with the understanding that there will be a hiccup or two along the way. The team's next task is to shut down the Texans, who are riding a six-game winning streak.--Chris O'Reilly
