BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans wide receiver Keke Coutee has dealt with a hamstring injury over the last few weeks and, while his target share fluctuated, so too did his fantasy value. First, Will Fuller was out for the season, making people run to the wire to pick up the talented rookie; then Demaryius Thomas was added, dropping Coutee's value a bit. Still, the diminutive Texan has shown enough in his young career to warrant an addition in fantasy leagues.
Coutee broke onto the fantasy radar with an 11 catch/109 yard effort against the Colts earlier this season, a performance that was backed up with a touchdown catch against the Cowboys the following week. While this was a good start to the season, Coutee's targets have dropped in each of his four games played and he is only averaging 9.3 yards per reception. Coutee's stats seem to be volume-based, but his 21 catches on 30 targets do show that he makes the most of the opportunities that Deshaun Watson gives him.
The Redskins have the 9th-worst defense against WR, giving Coutee the opportunity to make an impact if he is healthy in Week 11. Tennessee, Cleveland, the Jets, and Philadelphia also represent plus matchups for Texans WR, showing that Coutee can be a high impact player, even as a WR3 in Houston. Considering his 70% catch rate, Coutee is a must-add in deeper leagues.
