6 years agoNew York Islanders left wing Michael Dal Colle was called up to the big club on Thursday morning. Andrew Ladd (lower body), Matt Martin (upper body), and Casey Cizikas (lower body) are all injured so Dal Colle and Stephen Gionta will get an opportunity to showcase their skills. Dal Colle, in particular, has been impressive with Bridgeport in the AHL this season. He has seven goals and 14 points through 14 games and is finally offering some positive signs after the Islanders took him fifth overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Unfortunately, the Islanders scratched Dal Colle for Thursday's contest in a boggling decision. He is not a fantasy option right now but could be in the future if he can translate some success to the NHL level.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
