6 years agoNew York Rangers center Ryan Spooner was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on Friday afternoon. Spooner has two points through 16 games this season. He had a strong finish to the 2017-18 campaign but fell out of favor with new Rangers head coach David Quinn. He will likely slide into the third-line center role. Spooner is no doubt looking forward to a fresh start, but he is a fantasy afterthought unless he somehow moves onto a line with Connor McDavid.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
