Alex Collins Has Upside In Week 11
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins will look to reach the end zone yet again in Week 11 against the Bengals. The 24-year-old, who is currently ranked 24th among running backs in standard league scoring, has totaled 10 or more fantasy points (PPR) in each of his last four games. While he has struggled running the ball this year, averaging 43.7 yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry, his fantasy value comes from him reaching the end zone often. The third-year pro has seven touchdowns on the season with six of the scores coming on the ground, including four in the last four weeks. Collins, who totaled a season-high 90 yards from scrimmage against Cincinnati (Week 2), has a good matchup against the Bengals, who own one of the worst run defenses in the league. The Bengals will also be without their top two linebackers in Nick Vigil and Preston Brown. With the likelihood that the Ravens will try to get the ball to their backs more often than usual, fantasy owners should consider Alex Collins as a flex play with high upside.
