6 years agoDetroit Lions running back Theo Riddick saw seven targets, hauling in five of them for 30 yards in the 20-19 win over Carolina on Sunday. Riddick also received one carry but it went for no gain. The 27-year-old saw at least seven targets for the third straight game since returning from injury in Week 9. Week-after week, Riddick is a steady source of points in PPR formats, but his upside is very limited due to his lack of scoring potential. However, Kerryon Johnson was forced to leave Sunday's game, and if he were forced to miss any time, Riddick would likely see whatever targets Johnson was taking in the passing game, as well as a few more carries than usual.
