6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins goalie Casey DeSmith will be between the pipes for Monday's matchup with the Buffalo Sabres. DeSmith has outplayed Matt Murray to start the season. He has a 3-3-2 record to go along with a 2.24 goals-against average, .930 save percentage, and two shutouts. Unfortunately, DeSmith will be taking on one of the hottest teams in the league on Monday. The Sabres have won five straight games and have scored an average of 3.4 goals per game during the streak.
