6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson saw a season-high 10 targets in Thursday's loss to the Cowboys, and he turned in his best all-around performance of the season as a result. His six catches and 66 yards were also season-highs, though he failed to get into the end zone to top off his outing. It's difficult to know whether this performance was the result of the Redskins having to throw the ball to keep up with Dallas, or if it is tied to Colt McCoy's preference to target Doctson. For what it's worth, this wasn't the first time the Redskins found themselves facing a deficit, but Alex Smith never looked Doctson's way this often. Keep an eye on him to see if Thursday was an outlier or the beginning of a trend.--Chris O'Reilly
