6 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandon Marshall was a surprise inactive for the second straight game as the Saints took care of the Falcons 31-17 on Thanksgiving. The veteran receiver was signed via free agency two weeks ago to supplement the Saints passing game but has not suited up for the team yet. It could simply be an issue of trying to get up to speed on offense but it certainly was a surprise to see the Saints activate unknown receivers Keith Kirkwood, Austin Carr and Tommylee Lewis instead. Fantasy owners that rushed to the waiver wire to pick up Marshall would be wise to cut bait and look elsewhere to catch lightning in a bottle this late in the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
