6 years agoWinnipeg Jets right wing Patrik Laine looked like a man from another planet on Saturday against the Blues, scoring five goals in a 8-4 win. He got things started with 16:26 played in the opening frame and already had the chance to celebrate a hat trick 12:53 into the second period. Amazingly, he scored with all five shots he had on the net. Linemates Kyle Connor and Bryan Little both tallied four assists on the goals. At 20 years and 219 days old, Laine is the third youngest player to score five goals in a game. He now leads the league in goals with 19. 11 of them have come in the last four games.
