6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 14 of 25 passes for 178 yards along with one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-17 victory over the Raiders. He added 71 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. It is the Ravens second straight win with the rookie under center, but the game demonstrated how far the he still needs to go as a passer. Jackson averaged 7.1 yards per attempt, although that number drops to a measly 4.3 yards per throw if you take away the 75-yard completion to tight end Mark Andrews, who was wide open. In fact, just five of the University of Louisville product's passes gained at least 10 yards. Plus, Michael Crabtree along with John Brown and Chris Moore were the only Ravens' wide receivers to record a reception. Jackson, who has racked up 180 yards on the ground over the last two games, should be considered a QB1 against a vulnerable Falcons' defense if he gets the start in Week 13.--Daniel Benjamin
