BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 18% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Donte Moncrief may be in a perfect buy-low situation. After posting two catches on six targets over the last two games, many have given up on the WR1 for the Jags. However, he still has averaged 15.2 yards per catch this season and gets a new look for the 2018 season with Cody Kessler replacing Blake Bortles as quarterback.
Lets start with the bad: Moncrief has only been targeted 10 times in the last three games and has only caught 34 of his 66 targets in 2018. Although those are rough, he has also been targeted 10 times two separate times this season and his yards per catch numbers are 25th in the league. Furthermore, these have come with Blake Bortles and his 46.8 QBR at the helm for Jacksonville. While Kessler only has 248 career pass attempts, he has completed 64.5% of his passes and was 21-for-30 against the Texans earlier this season.
There is a rough matchup for Moncrief and the Jaguars this week, as the team is playing the Colts (who rank 7th against fantasy WR) and are working in a new QB in Kessler. Strong matchups against the Titans and Redskins follow, though, and Moncrief will have an opportunity to really break out. It is good to have Moncrief a week ahead of his strong matchups and make sure to start him in deeper leagues in Weeks 14 and 15.
