Robert Griffin III Attempts First Passes Of Season
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III completed two of four passes for 21 yards in Sunday's win over the Falcons. Griffin entered the game after starter Lamar Jackson was forced to leave the contest as a result of receiving a kick to the head in the third quarter. The seventh-year pro, who hadn't thrown a pass in two seasons, subsequently orchestrated a beautiful 14-play, 60-yard drive that ended with a field goal by Justin Tucker. Jackson was able to return to start the fourth quarter. It is nice to see Griffin have some success, but it really doesn't mean anything going forward as Joe Flacco (hip) is expected to be available for Week 14.
