6 years agoWashington Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov had a goal and an assist in Sunday's 6-5 loss to Anaheim. He registered a power-play helper on a Tom Wilson goal before scoring himself. Kuznetsov's goal put the Caps up 4-1 in the second period and Nic Dowd, who also had two points in the game, made it a four-goal lead, but Washington somehow managed to squander the big lead and lose in the end. Kuznetsov made his return from a concussion this week and he's been hot straightaway, collecting three points in two games. Overall, he's finished pointless in only two of his last 11 outings. The Caps now take on Vegas next against whom Kuznetsov had four points on Oct. 10, so expect big things from him again on Tuesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
