BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS:You might have been confused if you checked in to the Cardinals-Packers game last week and not just by the scoreboard. When the Cardinals got into the red zone, it was rookie Chase Edmonds, not David Johnson, scoring twice. Ultimately, it wasn't a matter of higher usage though. Edmonds totaled seven touches on the day while Johnson was third in touches for Week 13 at 21.
Edmonds simply made the most of his chances, finding the end zone twice and running for 53 yards on those five carries. The question is whether Edmonds' red zone involvement is a wrinkle the team included to throw off the Packers or the start of a trend, given his effectiveness. For now, Edmonds simply moves from being a low-end handcuff to a high-end handcuff for DJ owners.
