Mikko Rantanen Picks Up Two Points Against Red Wings
6 years agoColorado Avalanche left wing Mikko Rantanen produced two assists during Sunday's 2-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Rantanen has points in eight straight games, seven of which have been multi-point efforts. The Finnish winger is leading the NHL in scoring with 11 goals and 34 assists through 27 games. He also has 14 power-play points and a plus-16 rating. Rantanen blossomed into an elite talent last season alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog. He has not missed a step to start the 2018-19 season and sits as the early Hart Trophy favorite. Rantanen is a must-start anytime he takes the ice.
