6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson recorded just six total touches in Monday night's loss to the Eagles. Unlike his backfield mate Adrian Peterson, he did not make the best of limited volume with a long touchdown. Thompson's performance has to be taken with a grain of salt, of course, as he had missed the previous four games coming into Monday's contest. That said, the Eagles presented a favorable matchup for pass-catching running backs, and the Redskins couldn't find a way to capitalize. With Colt McCoy now out for the season at quarterback, the lack of continuity on offense is going to limit the already low fantasy value of Redskins players going forward.--Chris O'Reilly
