BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 14% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson has been targeted at least five times in four of the last five games. While he has not caught a touchdown in three games, he was targeted 10 times against the Cowboys last week and had a 32-yard catch against the Eagles on Monday night. There are issues with adding Doctson, though, as the Skins have gone from Alex Smith to Colt McCoy to Mark Sanchez at quarterback.
Sanchez at quarterback will likely see Doctson go unclaimed in most leagues, but the 25-year-old does have 117 receiving yards over the last two weeks. This represents the best two week period of the season for Doctson and his 51 yards were the high for the Redskins on Monday night. There is also upside on Doctson's catches as well, as he averaged 14.3 yards per catch last season and just 11 this season.
Doctson and the Redskins will face the Giants this weekend, who are 7th against fantasy WR and allowed just 20 points to Redskins WR in Week 8. They will face the Titans in Week 16, who are 23rd against fantasy WR, but that is the only plus matchup for the Skins. Sanchez at QB is not the best of situations for Doctson, but there is still value in deeper leagues.
