6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels is expected to see an increased workload with James Conner ruled out for Week 14's matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Samuels projects to be the lead back in Pittsburgh while Conner is sidelined, a position that has been very productive from a fantasy standpoint over the years. While it is unclear how much work the rookie will split with Stevan Ridley, expect Samuels, a tight end in college, to be the team's preferred pass-catching back. Oakland's run defense has struggled to slow opposing running backs, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position. Based on opportunity and his pass-catching skills alone, treat Samuels as an upside RB2 for Week 14. Samuels is also eligible at tight end on Yahoo, making him a top option at that position unless you have Zach Ertz or Travis Kelce.--Matt T - RotoBaller
