Somewhat Positive Outlook For Jordan Reed
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed seemed to be recapturing some of his fantasy intrigue in Weeks 11 and 12, catching 13 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown on 19 targets. Last week's injury to Colt McCoy (and the subsequent arrival of Mark Sanchez as the team's starting quarterback) undeniably throws a wrench into the momentum Reed was gathering. On the bright side, his Week 14 opponent New York Giants have been getting knocked around by the tight end position of late, having allowed at least 80 yards or a touchdown in three of their last four contests. If Sanchez adopts Reed as his safety net against this average pass defense, it could yield fantasy production.
