Jaylen Samuels Shows Well In Week 14
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels turned in a solid game in his team's 24-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 14. Samuels managed just 28 yards on 11 carries but he hauled in seven passes for 64 yards to finish second on the team in receiving. The rookie running back did get vultured by Stevan Ridley on a short touchdown run but his work in the passing game was encouraging. There have been mixed reports about whether starter James Conner will be ready to return to action in Week 15 but, as of now, it is looking unlikely. That would mean Samuels would get another week to operate as the team's lead back. Pittsburgh will take on the New England Patriots in Week 15.
