Adrian Peterson Ineffective Against Giants
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball 10 times for 16 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Giants. He was out-gained on the ground by Chris Thompson, who only had three carries, and Josh Johnson, the Redskins' fourth new quarterback in as many weeks. As Washington's season has come apart at the seams after a promising start, so too has Peterson's fantasy value. A few well-timed touchdowns have helped salvage recent performances, but the consistent workload and production we saw from him in the first half of the season has dissipated greatly. If you managed to survive his crippling Week 14 performance, you'll hope he can emulate Derrick Henry's 238-yard, four-score outing against a puzzling Jaguars defense in Week 15.
