6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson averaged just 2.7 yards per carry en route to a 51-yard, zero-touchdown Week 15 performance at Jacksonville. Remove the 90-yard touchdown run from Peterson's Week 13 stat line, and he has not provided a start-worthy outing since Week 11. Volume kept his fantasy value afloat for the first half of the season, but he has been on a touchdown-dependent downhill slide for nearly two months now. Up next for Peterson is a Titans defense that just finished making light work of Saquon Barkley and shutting out the Giants. Peterson must be downgraded from an RB2 to a flex play for Week 16, the championship round for many fantasy leagues.--Chris O'Reilly
