6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jeremy Sprinkle caught three passes in Sunday's win over the Jaguars, one of which went for a touchdown. The three receptions were his first of the entire season, and Sprinkle had not even been targeted in the passing game since Nov. 18. With Jordan Reed's status for the final two weeks of the season in question, Sprinkle and Vernon Davis will likely continue to share the tight end workload. Even if this increase in playing time should lend itself to a glimpse of Sprinkle's future potential, he should not be considered an option in Week 16 against a Titans defense that has not allowed a single touchdown reception to the tight end position all season.--Chris O'Reilly
