Damien Williams Is A Must Start In Week 16
6 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Damien Williams is likely to handle the majority of the workload against the Seahawks in Week 16 as Spencer Ware (hamstring) is doubtful for the game. Williams is coming off his best game of the season last week against the Chargers where he accumulated 49 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Three of his nine carries that went for positive yards were for five or more yards, which included a long of 22. The 26-year-old also hauled in a season-high six receptions for 74 yards, which also was a season-best, versus the Chargers. The fifth-year back has totaled 63 rushing yards along with three rushing touchdowns and 10 receptions and 90 receiving yards along with one touchdown over the past two games. Seattle has allowed 14 PPR points to a running back in eight games in a row. If Ware is out once again, Williams is a must-start. Otherwise, he should be considered a possible flex play.
