Josh Allen Completes Season-High 20 Passes
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 20 of 41 pass attempts for 217 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. The rookie added 30 rushing yards on five carries. It marked the fourth straight game that he has passed for 200 or more yards. He set career-high marks in completions and pass attempts. The 22-year-old was incredibly inaccurate in this one, especially when the contest was in the balance and the Patriots did not give him much room to run. Allen's touchdown toss to Zay Jones came late in the game with the Bills down 24-6. The University of Wyoming product, who has now thrown multiple picks in three of the last four outings, will look to bounce back in Week 17 against the Dolphins. Allen had his best game of the campaign in Miami (Dec. 2) as he rolled up a season-best 366 total yards with 135 of those yards coming on the ground while also tossing two touchdowns. With the Dolphins defense allowing at least 27 points in their last four road games, consider Allen a QB2.
