Josh Allen Tosses Season High Three Touchdowns
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 17 of 26 passes for 224 yards to go along with a season-high three touchdowns and one interception in Week 17's victory over the Dolphins. The rookie also added 95 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. The five touchdowns and his passer rating of 114.1 were a career high. Meanwhile, his completion percentage (65.4), yards per attempt (8.64) and yards from scrimmage (319) are his second highest of the year. Allen will be the team's No. 1 quarterback next season and probably start the season as a QB2 in fantasy. The 22-year-old finished the campaign with 2,074 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions through the air, along with 89 carries for 631 yards and eight touchdowns. Allen set the Bills' franchise record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a season, and his eight rushing touchdowns are the second-most by a quarterback in the Super Bowl era.
