Joe Flacco Won't Play For Ravens In 2019
6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens have already decided that Lamar Jackson will be their starting quarterback in 2019 and that veteran Joe Flacco will not be part of the team. The Ravens will either trade or release the 11th-year pro. Flacco started off the season strong but struggled in Weeks 5-through -9, as the Ravens lost four of five games, before getting hurt against the Steelers (Week 9). The 33-year-old finished the season with a 61.2 completion percentage along with 2,465 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also added 45 rushing yards on 19 attempts. While it is unknown where Flacco, who is the greatest quarterback in Ravens' history, will end up or what his role will be, he will likely start the season as a low-end QB2 at the very best.
