6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins will be a restricted free agent once the new NFL season rolls around. The 25-year-old was never able to get anything going this season and ended the season on injured reserve with a foot injury. He was never able to reach 70 rushing yards in a game and finished with a paltry 3.6 yards per carry average. Overall, the third-year pro finished with 411 yards and seven touchdowns along with 15 receptions for 105 yards. It is hard to imagine that the former Arkansas star will return to the Ravens next season with Gus Edwards and Kenneth Dixon already there. However, there may be a scenario where he does return as he only made $650, 000 last year. Wherever Collins ends up, he will have to work his way back into a rotational role.--Daniel Benjamin
