6 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby allowed seven goals on 43 shots during a 7-6 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. It looked like Holtby was going to pick up the win before Evander Kane tied the game with one second remaining on the clock. Holtby has now gone winless in his past four starts and carries a .844 save percentage over that span. The Canadian netminder has been inconsistent throughout the season. His 17-11-3 record is more indicative of the strength of his team than his play. Hopefully, the All-Star break will clear his head and allow him to get back to his elite form.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
