6 years agoMinnesota Wild center Eric Staal recorded two goals with an assist, a plus-2 rating, four shots on goal, a blocked shot and two hits in Wednesday's 5-2 road victory against the Colorado Avalanche. One of his markers came on the power-play, just his fourth of the season and first since Nov. 21. The veteran is enjoying his most productive month of the season with four goals, 11 points and a plus-4 rating. He also has multi-point performances in consecutive games for the first time this season. Unfortunately for his fantasy owners the All-Star break is upon us, so hopefully that doesn't affect his momentum.--Daniel Dobish
