Teddy Blueger Scores First NHL Goal, New Guys Debut
6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Nick Bjugstad arrived at the arena minutes before Friday's 5-3 victory against the Ottawa Senators after being acquired from the Florida Panthers the day before. He posted an assist, a plus-2 rating, two penalty minutes and three hits over 16:13 of ice time across 21 shifts in his debut. Center Jared McCann also made his debut, going scoreless with one shot and a minor penalty in 10:08 of ice time. Meanwhile, center Teddy Blueger posted his first NHL goal while finishing with a plus-1 rating and five hits. The whirlwind continues to Bjugstad and McCann, as the Pens travel to meet the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
