6 years agoMinnesota Wild center Mikko Koivu (lower body) suffered a lower-body injury after a collision with center Tage Thompson in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss against the Buffalo Sabres. Koivu was unable to return, and head coach Bruce Boudreau did not have any updates on the source and severity of Koivu's injury after the game. His status for Thursday's home game against the Edmonton Oilers is uncertain at this point. If your fantasy pool allows daily moves, reserve him until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.--Daniel Dobish
