6 years agoBuffalo Sabres goaltender Linus Ullmark allowed four goals on 45 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout victory against the Minnesota Wild. Ullmark and the Sabres blew a 3-1 lead they had midway through the second period, as Jared Spurgeon and Charlie Coyle each struck for their 10th goals of the season each to level the score. Center Sam Reinhart restored Buffalo's lead, but Zach Parise scored with an extra attacker with 97 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. Ullmark hung on in the shootout turning aside shots from Victor Rask, Jason Zucker, and Parise to send the home folks away happy. Next up for the Sabres is a visit from the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday.--Daniel Dobish
