6 years agoThe Oakland Athletics signed relief pitcher Wei-Chung Wang to a minor-league contract on Wednesday. He has made 22 appearances in the majors, last working with the Milwaukee Brewers during the 2017 campaign. The southpaw spent last season pitching out of the bullpen for the NC Dinos in the KBO League in South Korea, posting a 7-10 record with a 4.26 ERA across 141 2/3 innings across 25 starts, striking out 108 batters with a 1.48 WHIP. In his career in the majors, he was working out of the bullpen with ugly results, turning in a 11.09 ERA over 18 2/3 innings, so he isn't someone to target for fantasy purposes in 2019.--Daniel Dobish
