Matt Murray Could Be Sidelined On Thursday
6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray (upper body) is being evaluated for an upper-body injury and he might be sidelined for Thursday's road game against the Florida Panthers. If he is unable to play it would be Casey DeSmith getting the starting nod in the crease. While head coach Mike Sullivan didn't divulge any details on the goaltenders' injury, he did confirm Murray is not dealing with a concussion. Murray is also scheduled to travel with the team for the game, too. He has lost four of the past six starts after winning nine in a row.
