6 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel notched his 18th goal of the season on a screamer from the faceoff circle in Sunday's 3-1 loss against the Winnipeg Jets. Center Sam Reinhart didn't factor in on the scoresheet, but he shaded Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck who never saw a clean look at the shot. Eichel has posted two goals and six points, including three power-play assists, during his current five-game point streak. The All-Star will look to continue his point streak in Tuesday's game against the visiting New York Islanders.--Daniel Dobish
