6 years agoNew Jersey Devils center Nico Hischier recorded assists on each of his team's goals in Sunday's 3-2 victory against the Carolina Hurricanes. He finished with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal, a blocked shot and a hit over his 14:51 of ice time across 20 shifts. He snapped a three-game point drought, although he still has three goals and six points across the past six outings. Lately it's been boom or bust for Hischier. Center Marcus Johansson scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 4:04 left in regulation. The Devils are back in action Tuesday night in St. Louis.--Daniel Dobish
