6 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov turned aside all 40 shots he faced in Monday's 3-0 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights. It was the 25th shutout of his career. He has posted a 2-2-3 record, 2.58 goals-against average and .932 save percentage across his past seven outings, as he keeps the Avalanche right in the thick of the playoff chase in the Western Conference. Next up for the Avalanche will be a visit from the high-flying Winnipeg Jets. He is 1-1-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .896 save percentage in his first two starts against Winnipeg this season.--Daniel Dobish
